One of the best things about being a Member of the European Parliament is that I get to meet very special people. Heads of state, politicians, entertainers, experts and activists from all over the world. Among those who impressed me most in the past year, is Anastasia. Anastasia is a wonderful lesbian girl who tries hard to make her country a safe place for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people.
